**In our effort to comply with COVID-19 guidelines, we do not have separate Children’s Ministry Classes until further notice. Children are welcome and encouraged to join service, but need to sit with their family. We will provide individual packaged snacks, coloring activities, and age appropriate worksheet to go along with the sermon.
Welcome and thank you for wanting to know more about our Children’s
ministry! We hope that this information will be helpful to you in
knowing who we are and what we have to offer to your children and
family. The Children’s Ministry exists for one purpose– to help
children know, love and follow God with all their hearts, souls, and
Because we recognize parents are the primary teachers of their
children, we want to serve as an additional support to families,
coming alongside parents by training and nurturing their children in a
safe, positive environment to know, honor and obey Jesus.
We do this by offering several programs that allow children to
actively participate, explore, and learn while being drawn into a
relationship with Jesus. It is such a joy to see children memorize
scripture, learn to worship, and articulate their faith!
Programs: Our Sunday School classes are as follows:
Tiny Tots (2 and Under) and Pre-K (3 and 4years olds) children go directly to class before service. Kinder/1st ( 5 and 6 year olds) and 2nd-5th Graders are dismissed to their classes after worship. We also have safe, fenced areas that provide separate playgrounds for the older and younger children.
What to expect: After worship in the sanctuary, children will be dismissed to their classrom to participate in lessons that may involve age appropriate stories, crafts, skits and more! We use curriculum
that meets the children at their level and understanding. The lessons
are experiential—so kids remember more— and applicable— so God and the Bible are real in their lives! Our goal is to have your child be able to tell you what they learned in their own words!
Volunteers: We believe Children’s ministry is more than childcare! It
is an opportunity to teach our children about the Lord, and help shape
them into true disciples. For that reason we are thankful for our
dedicated and faithful volunteers! Every week teachers diligently
prepare lessons, and helpers come ready to assist. Teachers and
helpers commit to serve one Sunday a month. We also ask that parents
also serve monthly in Children’s ministry in a capacity that best
maximizes their talents and abilities. Many hands make light work!
